Sleep is an essential part of our everyday life, yet we typically treat sleep as something we can cut out in order to become more productive during the day. By making sleep a top priority, we can start to change how we feel, along with increase our productivity, performance, and overall health.
SLEEP & THE NIGHT SHIFT
Working third shift can make it difficult to get the recommended 7-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep our body needs. Our body naturally wants to remain awake during daylight hours, so try to avoid being in the sunlight after work and wear sunglasses to help block out the sun’s rays.
